How does it work?

Step 1 - Phone interview with MHEF consultant to determine your specific needs and arrange undercover visits.

Step 2 - Written confirmation of Undercover Guest visits as determined by phone interview. Sign and return to MHEF.

Step 3 - MHEF observers dine in your establishment. MHEF uses trained observers (some with industry experience) to complete a diary of their visit(s).

Step 4 - MHEF consultant compiles information from observer diaries and completes a report with recommendations.

Step 5 - Report, receipts from visits and invoice are returned to you.

Step 6 - Pay invoice for consultant service and reimburse for guest receipts.

How many observations will we receive?

This will be determined by you and the MHEF consultant before observations begin. There will be a minimum of two visits. Usually four is a good number with which to start.

What is the cost?

$195 for up to four visits plus reimbursement of dining expenses at your location during each visit. Each additional visit request will be billed at $50.00 each (plus receipt reimbursement.)[Non-member fee is $465 for up to four visits.]

· Accuracy of orders and guest receipts

· General bartender awareness

· Employee theft opportunities
