This two-day interactive workshop is designed for ServSafe instructors to take their training to the next level. Whether you're a first-timer, or have been training for years, this workshop will give you new insights and energy for teaching the ServSafe program. It covers many topics concerning the training of young adult and adult learners, and will help you and your team become more effective trainers. The course fee includes lunch both days, the ServSafe Coursebook, CD Rom containing ServSafe PowerPoint, Food Safety Showdown, Food Safety Brainiacs, additional case studies, class activities and the Instructor Guide.
MHEF recommends that participants complete the instructor application process at ServSafe.com before attending this workshop. Log onto www.ServSafe.com and click on "Become A Food Safety Instructor." Complete the online advanced exam, program tutorial, performance agreement and application to obtain a Certified Instructor Number. You must pass the regular ServSafe exam before attempting to become a ServSafe instructor.
