Please note that several Maryland jurisdictions require classroom training hours in conjunction with your Food Safety Manager’s certification. Home study participant’s certificates will not reflect any classroom hours.
After receipt of your registration and payment, a 4th Edition ServSafe Essentials text book shipped to you with a Food Safety Review guide and instructor contact information. Our MHEF instructors will be available via email and telephone for assistance while you are completing the text book.
You will also receive a testing information sheet. Testing takes place at our office in Columbia twice a month. There is an optional 2-hour review session offered every other month. The registration fee includes all shipping fees, exam fees and certification costs. There is an additional fee if you desire the certificate to be sent with signature confirmation delivery service.
We recommend that you complete the study and take the exam within 90 days of registration.
