ServSafe Instructor FAQ’s
- From whom and when should I order ServSafe text books?
Text books are ordered from MHEF, and should be ordered two weeks before your class.
- How do I order the ServSafe course books?
There are three ways to do this. You may place your order at www.mhef.org, by filling out the Order Form and mailing or faxing it to MHEF, or you may call MHEF at 800-874-1313.
- Where do I order the ServSafe Exams?
The ServSafe exams are ordered by filling out the Examination Request Form and sending it to the NRAEF. Exams should be ordered 16 business days before the date of the exam, if you submit your request in this time frame, there is no charge for the exams.
- Do the answer sheets come with the exams?
No. Answer sheets do not accompany the test and need to be ordered separately though MHEF.
- Once I place my order for the text books, how soon will I receive them?
Your order should arrive a week from the time you placed the order.
- Once I have completed my class where do I send the test, and what should I send with it?
Once you have completed your class you need to send back all the exams and the answer sheets in the envelope provided to the NRAEF. There should be a pre-paid UPS label enclosed with your exams when you receive them.
- Who do I call with questions regarding the ServSafe exam?
All questions regarding testing, certificates, or test results need to be directed to the NRAEF.
- Who do I call with questions regarding ServSafe products?
All questions regarding the ServSafe products should be directed to MHEF.
