How to Rate Your Suppliers

Document Actions

1. Rate your order taker and/or salesman. Were they friendly and helpful?  Did they make useful recommendations that might save you time and money?

2. Rate their delivery schedule. Are they delivering at a time of day that you requested?

3. Rate the quality of the product. Is it consistantly of high quality? Do you feel that, given the circumstances, you are getting the best product possible?

4. Rate your suppliers willingness to inform you of special discounts you may qualify for. Do they let you know about special promotions?

5. Rate the attitude of the delivery personnel. Are they friendly and courteous?

6. Rate product availability of your supplier. Are there any product shortages? Have you been denied a product due to a shortage?

7. Note any price increases. While required occasionally, they should not be a common occurence.

8. How are emergency orders handled? Is your supplier able to fill emergency orders? If not, do they have an acceptable excuse?
