The winning team, Howard County’s Applications and Research Laboratory, won the right to compete in the National ProStart competition in April, 2005. Western Technical High School placed second, and Carver Center for the Arts and Technology came in third. Other competing teams were Sollers Point Technical High School, Carroll County Career and Technology Center and Eastern Technical High School.
